Oh boy, it's been a long time since I've posted. There has been so much going on! I'm going to just ignore the zillions of things that have happened since my last post and share these pics from the San Francisco Vintage Fashion Expo. The Thatch trailer... I just don't even know where to start. It was so lovely. My absolute dream! To travel around the country buying and selling vintage out of a vintage trailer sounds like the best possible thing to me. Of course, I would probably prefer a cute little Shasta trailer, but that wouldn't hold as much! The adorable romper playsuit that tricks you into thinking it's a dress I got is actually not from Thatch, but is photographed in their dressing room. It is my absolute favorite! I only bought 2 things, but I felt like I scored big.
The big news I will mention is that Plague of Pigeons Vintage and Home Decor are now available live and in person at Mascot General Store in Oakland! Of course, you can still find it on etsy if you aren't in the Bay Area. I'm working at the shop on Fridays, and sometimes the odd other day during the week, so come by and say hey! Mousevox vintage clothing is at Mascot now too, so there's lots of awesome stuff to check out in addition to the already amazing selection the shop had before. I feel lucky to be in the company of such amazing ladies and their lovely wares.

Well, I can't say that I'm a fan of snakes, but in accessory form I am! I know Egyptian is probably not what people have in mind for Lunar New Year, but Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra is my favorite example for snake accessories. Here are some wearable snakes that could help you ring in the Year of the Snake in style.
If wearing snakes isn't your style, how cool is this vintage thermos I found on Etsy?

We're heading to a furniture store today, at the boyfriend's request. I honestly don't know what he wants to look for, but benches, a chair for the living room, and a new dining room table and chairs are all things on my list of furniture to get or replace in the semi-near future. Eventually I want to get a new couch too. Here are some things from around the internet I've been eyeing.
Parker Expandable Dining Table
The Parker Expandable Dining Table from West Elm. I've been looking for the perfect new dining room table kind of since we moved in, and I think this is it! I've been looking for a table that can be expanded or have leaves added to make it longer for when we have company, but I was having a hard time finding one in a style that I liked. This table was in the holiday (I think) version of the West Elm catalog, in the section with the teeny tiny pictures and details only, but didn't exist on their website yet. I just got the latest catalog in the mail and was super excited that I could finally see bigger pictures and look at it online.
And, have you checked out Thrive Furniture? I'm officially obsessed.
Hmm, I'm sensing a theme here for colors too. Maybe I should keep this in mind as I acquire any new furniture.

This weekend I went to a super fun pop-up shop at my favorite new shop in Oakland. Mascot has awesome vintage housewares and on Saturday they also had a bunch of awesome local vendors come sell their stuff, including my sister who was selling her jewelry, What About Phoenix? I got a super cute new vintage top from Mousevox, then I headed over to Homeroom and got some mac & cheese for lunch.
Here are some of my favorites in the Mascot etsy shop right now:
